Philip Fry was born in 1987 in Stevenage, England. He Studied at Hitchin College of Arts where he achieved his Diploma in Fine art. He subsequently went on to study at Leeds Metrolpolitan University, graduating with a BaHons in Contemporary Fine Art in 2009.

Philip specialises in a variety of painting techniques and traditional wood work. Since leaving unversity the Artist has put these skills to use with curating group and solo exhibitions over North London, Hertfordshire and Singapore - recently aimed at promoting closer bonds between visual and audial arts. Much of his recent work has been exploring the relationship between the musician, his instrument and iconography.

He has given talks about his work in Singapore; lately Philip has been invited to discus art with local school groups and has been teaching students ways in which he works with developing contacts between creative groups.

Philip promotes closer ties in his most recent work by seeking out and working with musicians. Working with song writers recording and practicing at a local sound studio, quikly developed into an Artist in Residence, and has since put on several solo exhibitions with the residency. Most recently, the Artist has began producing his own specially designed instruments - combining star qualities of famous brands with unique wrap around paint schemes - all built by hand.

He continues to organise and curate new exhibitions and is constantly looking for talent to work with.
